I'll search through my records, for I have done this before and there is a
factory formula, but I just wanted to point one thing out first:

No 12Hs as Ldev 1

If the 12H ever goes into a rebuild, such as in a powerfailure, or a disc failure
ISL will not let you boot successfully until the rebuild has been finished.

I sat waiting upon one of these with a client, getting multiply disc i/o errors
while trying to boot, fearing that the system - not currently backed up - was
totally wiped out.

After the rebuild has finished, about 8 hours later, all worked fine and booted
as normal.

...and this is why HP does not support 12Hs as LDEV 1 on 3000s
