Hi Michael,

I am sure you have figured it out by now, you didn't mention what the
System abort number was from yesterday...

From error messages (Vol 2) manual:

CE25 MESSAGE Internal inconsistency: iodc_entry_init - boot
                      device - FATAL! (E)

           CAUSE Firmware error.

           ACTION Contact your Hewlett-Packard Support
                      Representative.

Assuming your boot path is correct, LDev 1 would be the boot disc :-(

Thanks,
Gary Robillard

Subject: [HP3000-L] HP9x7 boot failure

I'm in Houston, the machine in question is in IL.
I think they lost ldev 1.

Looking for FLT codes, can't find the manual.
Can anybody confirm my first guess, LDEV 1?
Or is there another possibility?

After BO:

"Failed to Initialize Fatal Error Internal Inconsistency"
IODC_Entry_Init Boot Device Process Terminated FLT CE25

Yesterday system crashed FLT DEAD BF07, 0104, 0217

Thanks in Advance
Mike.
