Should be absolutely no difference between 9x9 and A500 - all other
factors being equal.
BTW, as long as you have performed your backup with the ;directory
option, and no PV's involved, as you state, there should be
absolutely no need to use buldacct or the file created thereby to
re-create the account structure. Restoring the directory for that
purpose is far superior and less error-prone.
Try to perform all of the restores in batch job streams. This way you
have an automatic audit trail of what has happened during the restore.
ALWAYS use the ;keep;olddate;create;progress options on your restores.
