I realize the 2100 date is facetious, but try and get past the 2027 and 2038 date issues first (Calender Intrinsic format is valid up to dec 31,2027 and the Posix.1 time format (seconds since Jan 01,1970) is valid through Jan 18, 2038)...
A lot of people thought there would not be any MPE systems still running in 2009 and beyond...
Try using SETCLOCK on a test machine to set the date beyond 12/31/2027 and you get "The specified date is out of range (CIERR 11711)". When the date rolls from 12/31/2027 to 01/01/2027, showtime will display the year as 1900 and showclock continues to display 2027 instead of 2028...
The clock is still ticking...
