Kent,

I would be willing to bet, that by the time the general public buys ammo, there have been over 100 taxes added to the cost.

Let's see, the manufacturer has to pay real estate taxes for his production facility.  Then he has to pay SS tax for his employees and of course match what they pay.  He then has to pay for shipping which means license fees, tolls, and gas taxes. 

You can see where this is going.  It doesn't matter how you slice it, businesses do NOT pay taxes.  Businesses simply collect taxes for the Governement.  It is done in such a way so the Government does not have to reimburse them.
