The problem is the site specifically says that the internet based
content is limited to US based IP addresses.
There are many possible reasons for this, contractual and legal, but
they are all pretty much irrelevant to the fact that the provider of the
content, for whatever reason, has limited internet delivery and you
asked for a way to circumvent their stated limitations.
In other words:
You want it...
They say no...
You apparently feel you can take it anyway...
Am I missing something?

I receive the TV channel leagally; all I was asking was the ability to
watch the shows that I miss.
What is the problem with that ?
Olav.

That he asked that question, without any obvious concern for the ethics
of what he wants to do, or that you gave him an answer with as much
disregard.

They know your location from your ip address.
There are several ip-masking sites around that will let you mask
yours.
hidemyip.com is one of many.
Google is your friend.

I know this is off-topic but I would like to find a
solution.
I am located in Canada, and am able to receive channel
ABC-22 from
Burlington, Vermont. When I go to their website to view
a missed
episode, it tells me that only viewers in the US can
watch these
full-length episodes.
Does anyone know a way around this message, so that I
can view my
missed episode, other than relocating to the US ?
What are they doing to verify my location ?
Regards, Olav.
