I've worked in environments both standalone as well as linked;
standalone works fine and, unless there are dependencies between
environments, is probably the most reliable and least labor intensive
configuration.

Subject: [HP3000-L] MAESTRO stand alone on MPE

Hi all,

We run AMISYS on HP3000s systems. We currently run MAESTRO LINKED to a
MASTER on a UNIX box. We are looking at options and one is to move away
from being LINKED to the UNIX MASTER and run MAESTRO as stand alone on
the HP. We have problems with our link dropping at the most inopportune
time.

Are there any of you out there that run MAESTRO stand alone on MPE? And
willing to share your experiences good or bad.

Would appreciate your input. My email is [log in to unmask]

Thanks,

Robin Quinn
