Greetings to the -L,

This is my last posting from this address (even then I've had to do it via
the web interface from home).

Wednesday 3rd December 2008 is the day that Pinnacle Entertainment went into
'administration' and I am one of the casualties of the first round of layoffs.

I do not see Pinnacle remaining in that state long before they fold. When
they do that means that two HP3000 979/400's will loose their home.

I am hoping to remain around for a bit longer (must find out what happens
after HP finally lets go of MPE) but any postings from me will have a
different address and will only be based on remembered knowledge. I don't
expect to get a job with another company that uses the 3000.

Regarding the CSL DDS's (XL'93 and 2003XL) and scripts that I was trying to
find a home for. I have the DDS's here in front of me and hope to get
somebody to soon email me the scripts. My access to our HP's was removed
whilst I was away at the layoff announcement (they thought I might do some
damage to the system - very unprofessional of them). Who wants the DDS's and
who the scripts?

Thanks to all those who have helped me in the past and may all you problems
be small and solvable.

Anybody who wishes to email me and cry over old times may do so at

That's all for now,
MPE For Ever!!!

regards,
Robert W.Mills
