Just had occasion to explore this, due to a bright failure in a fairly new unit.
After explaining what the pixelsare and how they fail, it just says:
"The HP display does not have more than:
*
3 bright dots
*
5 dark dots
*
5 total bright and dark dots
*
No more than two adjacent (less than 2.5 mm edge-to-edge) defective sub-pixels"
Nowhere does it actually say they will/my/might replace if more pixels fail, it just says they wont!!!!
What sort of wording is that?
