As you say.
They say the 2830/40 are pcl5 compliant, but its not true, as they don't carry proportional fonts that PCL5 can activate - they have to be supplied by a Windows driver.....
Really need somebody who can speak from experience.

Although the above reference is for a Laserjet 8150dn, the available PCL code should apply for all 8150 family members.

But, as someone has stated before, the warranty that comes with this statement expires upon reading - or words to that effect.
