Wow, that is an interesting one. I suspect your program is in a loop and opening more than 1024 files?
If you have glace, it would be interesting to monitor the process and view the open files.
You can do it in debug as well.

use datinit.dat.telesup
macstart
1 (os macros)
pin #xxxx where xxxx is the pin of the process you want to know about
fs_open_files
