I had posted a message on the list a few times about my nightly backups
taking a horrendous amount of time.
I recently discovered why and it may (or may not) be your problem also.
I discovered a bunch of extremely large STORE files in the HFS directory
thus: /SYS/STORE/@ being put onto my nightly backup tape. Once I purged
them the nightly backup just flew along much faster!
Doing an MPEiX LISTF @.STORE.SYS will NOT show you these files.
You can only see these files if you do a :LISTFILE /SYS/STORE/@,2

Brian.
