Figured it out after some trial and many errors. To recreate the missing
NSDIR.NET.SYS file one needs to OPEN it twice from the NMMGR entry screen.
To get the network to start one must recall that one must issue a
NETSTART command with the appropriate NET= value. In this case
NET=LABPRVT.
