The typical cause of this is a misconfigured or misbehaving "out of office"
agent, just like the messages imply.  If everyone is getting the same
messages, it is replying to the list address; but the usual case is that
only the original senders are receiving the odd messages.  That would
explain the direct mailing without list intervention.

The [log in to unmask] address may not directly be a subscriber, but rather a
forwarded address of one of your subscribers.
