The term "honest" and "politician" is an oxymoron.


There is no such thing. They are in the career they are in, to further their 
own ends. They do not give a squat about you, me or anyone else they
supposedly "represent."

Anyone who thinks they are being helped by these charlatans.... well, I
have a bridge in New York I'd like to sell you.
