Quoting Kim Borgman:

Move it to user volume set where I just added 2 additional drives....and
have over 50% free space....
----------
You cannot move files from one volume set to another, they must be copied or
stored (to disc or tape) and then restored to the new volume set.

If you have a good backup of the files you want to move, then use that to
restore them to the new destination volume set and then purge them from the
old. If you don't have a good backup of the files, make one and then do the
preceding.

You could of course do a STORE with the ;PURGE option that will store and
purge the files after they're successfully stored, but if your store medium
or file is bad you've just hosed your files unless you have another good
backup available.
