Come to think of it the drug users in the Seattle/Tacoma area have been
stealing anything metal.  I have a friend who works for Tacoma Light and
they have had several deaths.  I guess they cannot be bothered with
turning the power off.

It is real bad when they are stealing car parts.  My friend say the
metal recyclers should be more responsible about what they take.

Brian, that's one of the two big things they're stealing now. the
metal(s) in the 
catalytic converter is that valuable now. You should have driven down to
your 
local junk yard. They probably had it there! I think they're debating
big 
penalties here now if caught with a converter thay can't account for
with a 
vin number.
The other big thing is GPS systems
