Many years ago we had a customer (series 70) who shared space
in a large data center with an ibm 4381. One evening after
an end-of-long-day/long-week dinner w/drinks during the implementation
we returned to the data center where the customer end-user laison/trainer
asked innocently: "what is this for?"

while simultaneously pushing the power button on the
DASD controller for a string of disk drives connected to the 4381.

Needless to say - this was not a good thing and due to a perfect storm of
problems the 4381 was offline for 12 hours...
