Job description: 
HP9000 Cobol Programmer / Analyst

Programmer/Analyst to join MIS staff in an HP3000/HP9000 Cobol environment.
Must be comfortable in a multi-task department. Tasks to include:
** Learn complicated software systems
** Perform programming projects as assigned 
** Perform ad-hoc programming tasks as assigned
** Routine operational tasks
** Participate in a rotating on-call schedule (along with other programmers)
** Handle help-desk tasks, also on a rotating basis

Candidate must meet the following qualifications:
** Ten + years COBOL programming experience
** Five + years (recent) on HP9000
** Must perform well in a dynamic environment, and be able to shift focus when necessary

Experience in conversion from HP3000 to HP9000 a plus.
** AMXW code and JCL conversion software
** Marxmeier**s Eloquence database for HP-UX
** Acucorp Acucobol for HP-UX in a Windows environment
