Unfortunatly I do not think Cotton was cultivated in Egypt, or you might
get your wish. Seeds from a number of plants (like wheat) have been
found in Egyptian Pyramids, and then planted in modern times to find out
what it was like then?
Maybe cotton might be one of those...
