I don't know about your ancient version, but on more recent copies of 
Reflection, the thing to know is that wildcarding on the HP3000 side is 
done like wildcarding in LISTF (@, #, ?) and wildcarding on the PC side 
is done like it is on the PC, with * and ?.

IIRC, Win95 regarded abc*def.txt as abc*.txt, whereas later WinOSes, 
from some point, knew to also match on the 'def'.

So maybe your Reflection will follow suit with the old Win95 practice?

Wildcarding on Reflection on the PC side only seems to work within the 
directory or folder you are working on, and you can't wildcard higher 
directories.

Also, you can't wildcard both sides at once, though I can think of a few 
times this would have been useful, and I've had to resort to DOS to mass 
rename the transferred files, as this is something that Windows Explorer 
*still* can't do, even on Vista :-(
