I am attempting to open a file that exists in the HFS space with a COBOL program that I am writing. When I use "/JKP/JIM/FILE.CSV" I get and error #39 returned from the COBOL OPEN statement. When I change the file name to "./JKP/JIM/FILE.CSV" then I get error #14.

Should I just give up and use HPFOPEN? Or is there a way to make this work with COBOL verbs?

  Jim
