Thanks Donna. No testing window, problems that come up will be handled
on an "emergency" basis. For me that means outside help. I am it when it
comes to HP3000's in the company (at least west of the Rockies). My
fingers are crossed.

you *should* be ok....
i'm basing this on the fact that many people are running samba with no
problem with no lanman in their environment.
if you have sufficient infrastructure/support....perhaps this change
could be implemented is such a way to allow you to test? - d
