When herding camels one must be careful you don't have a "BREAKOUT".

Just to set the record straight it is Marlin Perkins,
not Merle Perkins that hosted Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom ;-)

On the way back to Albany from Corvallis today, we were taking a back road
call Pettibone. (for those near the area). Off to the right the fields
were a tad bit flooded, coming off the field was a magnificent Bald Eagle,
carrying a none to happy small rabbit.
He flew about 30 yards away from the van, I turned the car around for the
kids to get a better look. As we turned the car back around to head for
home two more Bald Eagles came flying across the field at a rather fast
clip.
Amazing, that makes four bald eagles I have spotted THIS year. I have
only seen two wild Bald Eagles in 40 years before. My children have no idea
the significance of what they just saw. :-)
Happy Friday.
