Just want to clarify that www.ultimatebootcd.com and www.ubcd4win.com are
two different boot cd's. I am told that the former is a DOS based boot CD
with DOS based utilities (I have not used it). The later is a windows XP
based boot CD with mostly windows apps, Bart PE, etc. I have used this and
found it very useful. I can't imagine working on Windows without it. It is
being continuously updated too and free!

Josh

I have been using something called "The Ultimate Boot CD" for years. It
has served me well. I haven't updated it since I downloaded it a couple of
years ago, but after a simple google search, it is still at

www.ultimatebootcd.com

Best of all, it's free! The version I have has many, many tests on it, but
it
is simple to use. I can only assume they've improved it over the years.

Good luck,
