As long as you're on 7.5 and that you manage **$SYSTEM_MASTER properly, you
could do that.

However the performance would be pretty bas since you only had one spindle
for virtual memory, system directory, volumeset log file and a host of other
disk-accessing objects.

I just had a minor epiphany, if I migrate to a machine with 73GB on LDEV
1, I'd never need another disc on MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET, everything
else could be on User Volumes.

Therefore I'd never have to worry about system files migrating off LDEV
1, and not be there when I need to do one of those pesky SINGLE-USER
SINGLE-DISC start ups.
