Subject: Re: ..Using Suprtool to Repack dataset

The way I was told you bascially unload the datasets into a SD file, reset the HASH value and then reload the dataset. Thus it gets rid of all the records set for deletion in TurboImage that are still taking up space.

Sorry but I know there are people out there who can do amazing things on a MPE system and I was hoping for some guidance in this. If you need a better explanation of the Suprtool method I you should contact my Guru Douglas Grimes.

You may want to re-pack the dataset after you extract and delete the records, or you will be left with a rather long delete chain, and that will defeat the whole purpose.
