Nice, if only this were in the US.

Italian judge makes HP give refund for pre-installed XP

Ever read the EULA on a new computer? Well, someone in Italy did. And it seems the End User License Agreement on the user's HP/Compaq system says "if the user doesn't agree with these terms, he shall contact the manufacturer in order to return the software and receive a reimbursement." So he tried to do just that, but HP said no, and it went to court. An Italian judge ordered HP to refund the cost of the operating system and MS Works, which was also pre-installed. Read more here:
