Although this issue started out as a COPY command error, it has
certainly turned into another issue -- the BUILD command.
I tried to build a file in the perm directory thus:
:BUILD XYX;REC=-1008,1,F,ASCII;DISC=500;SPOOL;CCTL
:LISTF XYX,2
ACCOUNT= DEV GROUP= PUB
FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
XYX OUTSP 1008B VACS 0 500 1 0 0 *
:PURGE XYX
BUILD XYX;REC=-1008,1,F,ASCII;DISC=500;SPOOL;CCTL;TEMP
:BUILD XYX;REC=-1008,1,F,ASCII;DISC=500;SPOOL;CCTL;TEMP
ATTEMPT TO SAVE PERMANENT FILE AS TEMPORARY (FSERR 110)
Build of file "XYX.PUB.DEV" failed. (CIERR 279)
Even although I specified the ;temp option in the build command, the
system still tried to build the file in the perm directory. Huh?
No file equations are pointing to this file.
So I have no idea what is going on with this issue.....
Brian.
