You will find this info in the "ISQL Reference Manual for ALLBASE/SQL and IMAGE/SQL"
I have been using this command for many years now. So I had to search docs.hp.com myself to find the related manual. While searching
I stumbled upon a section about using parameters in ISQL commands. An interesting feature which I was looking for all the time. Thus
thank you very much for asking your question ;-)
