Thanks for the link, Mark. The install CD I have came with the text
book (it also contains MYSQL and DB2). The instructions in the text
book for loading SS2K cover a scant 1.5 pages, so there's no help there
(the text just implies you can load-and-go ha). I'll plow through this
link you sent tonight to see what helps.

Did you set up a password when you ran the setup program? You cannot
leave the
SAPWD blank or it will not work. Check out point 3.4.3 in your README
file.
