Nigel,

If you do a 'show system' within QSHOW the 6th line will tell you who
created (and is the owner) of the dictionary.

Our dictionaries are built within the development account and then
COPIED to the production account. Therefore, the dictionary
creator/owner is different to the file creator/owner.

Hi all,

Can someone assist me with a Cognos V8 issue ? When trying to uncompile
a dictionary I get the following error.

Thing is I'm logged on as the file creator and also have AM caps and it
still doesn't work, although I can do it if I'm SM. Is the dictionary
creator something other than the file creator ? Anyway around this apart
from being SM ?
