You might also use GhostPCL o convert PCL to PDF, as far as I know...

To capture the PCL of an MPE/iX spoolfile, you might try FakeLP...

The above shows FakeLP.java source code, but the HP3000-L archvies
or groups.google.com for comp.sys.hp.mpe probably also has the Perl
or C versions that have been shared in a related thread years ago.
