  Jeff,

Unless you want to go to all the work and time of physically destroying the discs, I'd recommend taking a look at the WipeDisk/iX product from the good folks at Allegro. Yes, you do have to purchase it but the price is very reasonable compared to a lot of other MPE software, it is very easy to use and the support is excellent. I have over 80 drives on a system I am decommissioning and I don't want to destroy the drives if someone else can use them. And with HIPAA, I don't want to just toss the discs with patient data in the databases.

To all;
What's the word on deleting/purging data from HP 3000 disk drives? I have
model 20 disk arrays that need to be wiped to DOD (Department of Defense?)
levels.
This client has a dequasser. Does dequassing completely destroy the disk
drive?
Thanks,
Jeff
