The UTC Writing Center is open for the first summer a.m., so please encourage students to make use of our free writing consultations:

Walk-in's are welcome, but for a guaranteed consulting session, we encourage students to sign up for appointments.

Our sessions are interactive, and we will work with students at any stage of the writing process: 
*understanding assignments and brainstorming for topics
*locating and evaluating research
*thesis development
*organization
*using MLA and APA handbooks
*learning proofreading and editing skills

Computers are available for printing of student drafts
