Robert:
If the stdlist that your application is writing to is defined at the run
command line then:
build a msg file with a variable record length of the 132 and CCTL,
File (the name of the msg file) = (the name of the msg file),old
on the run line change the $stdlist=*(the name of the msg file)
If the stdlist that your application is writing to is defined by a file
equation then:
build that file as a msg file
When ever you want to empty the file,
build a flat file defined with the same length as the msg file,
fcopy from=(the name of the msg file), to=(the flat file name)
If this does not help, how about including the job text in your next
email, and I am sure may get other replies.
