Brings back memories; Great Commercial!
I was working a contract at Compaq back in 1987/1988, they had 7
production 70 series machines, and had just purchased a Spectrum.
Myself, I had a Compaq portable 2, with only 2Mb of RAM, and a 20 Mb
hard-drive, Dual Floppies. It ran circles around my IBM XT/AT 8088 with
512Kb of RAM. I still have the IBM and it still works, but needs a new
CGA Monitor. The Compaq was very portable, it seems that someone ported
it right out of the house.
Later,
Mike.

Well, actually it's not a laptop, it's a portable computer. I don't
think
it even had batteries; I believe it had to be plugged in.
Thanks for the memory. :-)
