I found a Query manual online and I actually RTFD...

The answer is to use MATCHING "?*dddd?*"

In MPE the command LISTF @####@ will find all files with 4 numbers.

Is there an equivalent Query parameter to use with the FIND command?

I guess what I'm looking for is something like "?*####?*", does that
exist?
