Add laserjet 4050n and 5n, both work fine.

If this is a current/new printer model, wouldn't it be useful to build a
list and park it somewhere accessible, listing printers that people have
connected to MPE systems that work, DON'T work, or partly work, and the
gotcha's associated with them?

Eg, we have
LJ2200n, 2200dn no problems
LJ2420dn no problems
LJ4200n no problems
Laserjet 5, 5m no problems
LJ 2840 WILL NOT Obey PCL5e font commands!!!!!, otherwise ok.
Lj 4100tn no problems
P3005dn no problems

Check this out:

Pay attention to the section entitled:

Memory/print languages

The bottom line is that this printer does not
work irrespective of what parameters you have supplied in NPCONFIG.
