Hi,

I'm running a 947RX, still on MPE 5.5. The last time I re-booted the machine
there was a warning of a corrupt file, which just happened to be
NMMGR.PUB.SYS.
Everything else is fine, but now I want to add a network printer, and can't.
I get a 'bad UFID' message, and can't restore the file. Is there any alternative
to a new system disc and a system re-build? I've seen references to FSCHECK,
but I haven't got a TELESUP account any more (and haven't had software
support since HP gave up on it in the UK some years ago).
Well, we were going to replace the E.R.P system it runs back in 1999 - maybe
this year...

Regards,

Paul
