Hi Michael :)
Fry's sells a Sony device that does this... the "Better Half" and I have
been thinking about it since we had a minor flood that got a few older
tapes... also the concept that Shawn mentioned is a big issue for me clan
as it ages... with the passing of my Mom in April I realized we (the clan)
have lots of old photos and Super 8* footage that we really need to convert
to DVD and share around... I hope to post some of 'em to www.bahrs.us
(when I get around to posting stuff onto it... after I get around to
building it... :) but I own it!!! a genuine Bahrs! unlike Bahrs.com hehehe)

Sony device is down around $150 or so on sale at Fry's and Oregon has
no sales tax so... :)

Thanks,
Art

This appears to be a discontinued product. Does anyone know of a similar
device from someone else that would allow you to copy VHS and VHS-C tapes
to DVD

Thanks,
