I recently noticed another post via hp3000-l which injected formatting
I'd never seen from this server. Has html been recently allowed to pass
via hp3000-l? I've long been under the impression it's carefully
filtered down to plain text.

I don't know but I'd be willing to bet that most of us dinosaur
char-mode computer hacks use plaintext as much as possible (thanks of
course to snafus introduced by fancy font designers who paint themselves
into corners they don't even see), so it's possible html comes through
loud & clear but we simply never see it because it's never used?

Or maybe Chuck's using a portal that converts the plaintext from
hp3000-l into html for his viewing pleasure and it screwed up this time?
