            You are invited to attend a memorial service to be held tomorrow
(Tuesday), November 28, at noon in Patten Chapel to mark the untimely
passing of Dr. Stephen Halperin, Assistant Professor in the Department of
Biological & Environmental Sciences.  Dr. Halperin suffered an aortic
aneurysm and died on Saturday, November 18.  Presiding over the service will
be Rev. Randy Martin of Hixson United Methodist Church, and Dr. Halperin's
family will be in attendance.  Please join us in paying tribute to a
colleague and friend who was taken from us all too soon.
