QEDIT SCREEN mode (visual) on puTTY ?

I am running Robelle's Qedit v5.1 on our HP3000-918LX to which I am
connected via FREEVT3K over an SSH link through our firewall provided by
puTTY v0.58.  This combination works very well for our POWERHOUSE v8.39
based video terminal applications.  What I would like to know is whether
it is possible to use SCREEN mode in this version of QEDIT and if so, what
value of RCRTMODEL and/or TERM is required to get it to work?  The setting
currently returned by our MPE/iX 7.5 system when logged on via FREEVT3K
are:

:SHOWVAR RCRTMODEL
RCRTMODEL = 1
:SHOWVAR TERM
TERM = hp2392a
