I've brought this subject up a few times and so far no one has been
able to answer the question, so it was with great interest I watched
this program on Neanderthals on the Discovery channel over the
weekend. First interesting point was that there has never been an
intact or nearly intact Neanderthal skeleton found. they spent a
year constructing a Neanderthal skeleton from pieces of other
skeletons, which was an amazing amount of work, but based on looking
at it, there wasn't even an intact skull. They never addressed how
many skeleton bits have been found or the dating method used, but
they did throw out a variety of geographical areas throughout europe
they supposedly lived and claimed that Neatherthals were around for
250,000 years. Now that there be some might fine sciencing that their doing.
