Hello Wes,

>> So you mention a patch is available for NST. Does anyone

This is the list of fixes in the current GR "NST" Network Transport Patch
for your MPE/iX release:

6.0: ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/mpe-ix_patches/c.60.00/NSTGDK3A.txt
6.5: ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/mpe-ix_patches/c.65.00/NSTHDD5A.txt
7.0: ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/mpe-ix_patches/c.70.00/NSTHDE3A.txt
7.5: ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/mpe-ix_patches/c.75.00/NSTHDH2A.txt

If you are interested in determineing what buffer mgr fixes are currently GR
for your release, you should click the above URL for your release and then
in Internet Explorer (as an example): Edit -> Find "buff" and use [next] to
follow the list of fixes to the buffer manager implemented in the NST patch.

This will answer your questions about what fixes to the buffer pool apply to
your release. The most complete list is on release 7.5 which is the
release the greater percentage of our customers have installed.

From the page ftp://ftp.itrc.hp.com/mpe-ix_patches/ you can select your
release and find all of the downloadable general release patches. For those
people who have support contracts with HP, I would recommend installing a
Power Patch.
