This is emphatically untrue.  When Bill asked to go on a Leave of
Absence, it was mutally agreed that his Leave would be reviewed in
August.  When August arrived, the situation which required Bill to
request time-off from the Board had still not resolved itself.  Bill
offered his resignation and it was with deep regret that the Board
accepted it.
