Hello all,

I have been attempting to use Samba on my 918.
The installation went fine and I can see the shares when I want to map a drive.
However, although I am able to map a drive to a share in the SAMBA account,
when I created another share for a User Account, I cannot connect to it.
I can see the share ok and I have opened all the security on the account and group.
When I try to map to it, I put in the user name e.g. mgr.prod06 and the password
but a box comes back showing the user name asking for the password again. When I
reenter the password, the box reappears but this time asking for the guest password.
My guess is that it is having trouble with the period in the user name.
Can anyone help?

Cheers,
John Dunlop
