Any more word on the possible next / final powerpatch ? Or any possible new
patches for the 2007 / 2008 timeframe, now that HP is extending support ?

(Also, any rumors on whether HP will still have enough MPE-savvy people around
to provide good support ?)

I ask because pretty soon I have to decide whether to renew my support with HP
or switch to someone else. (They WILL support me, I have the quote in hand).
Cost isn't the only factor -- I kinda like the idea of being able to beta-test
patches if there are any that need it, although I have to be careful, since we
don't have a separate test box. And I really like the idea of a powerpatch
tape from HP, if there will be one.

(FWIW, just had a very good experience with HP support yesterday, not
MPE-related, just a flaky USB tape drive still under warrantee. Always had
good support on the HP3000 too, so there is no special desire to switch
support just for the sake of switching).
