Various vendors offer View emulators but if you think screenjet is too
expensive, then I think you'll have to rewrite the screen handling
aspects - which is probably a false economy.
But contact Ordina Denkart for a quote on their Edwin product.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Converting VIEW/3000 forms to Windows platform
I am looking for suggestions on how to convert VIEW/3000 screens to a
Windows platform application. I have a single application that is very
custom to our operations and there is nothing off the shelf to replace
it.
There are a measly 6 VIEW screens that are used in a Fortran application
with Image DB calls. I have the Image DB calls solved by using
Eloquence.
I contacted the Screenjet people but their solution is much too
expensive
for this single application.
I am using the Compac Visual Fortran compiler and it works great using
the
Image DB (Eloquence) library. I just need to somehow emulate the 6
screens
to input and display data.
Thanks in advance....
